WE STAND WITH TRANS PEOPLE
Creative Coupling is small team of three creative queer individuals who have been building this brand together.
Since its inception, Creative Coupling has been led by the value of inclusivity. In light of the recently passed The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026 we reject the bill and reaffirm this value of inclusivity.
This bill is controversial, draconian and was passed without any engagement with the transgender community and amidst heavy protests across the nation by transgender people.
Our team at Creative Coupling wishes to reaffirm our stance that there cannot be any meaningful legislation about the community without consultation of the community.
We encourage all of you to stand with the trans community. Donate, share resources and show up to protests. Do whatever you can to help.
There are many organisations that have been working for years to help the community. If you can support them. Buy from trans-owned businesses. Amplify their voices. Reject this draconian bill. Put pressure on your elected officials.
Creative Coupling will always stand with the trans and queer community. We will always push for inclusivity and try to uphold that value in our work as well.
