I’m Shweta Wagaralkar, a queer artist and the person behind Creative Coupling. I paint, design, and sometimes overthink. My art usually starts with a mood not a plan. I work across mediums: oil pastels, acrylics, watercolours, and digital, depending on what the day feels like.
Building Creative Coupling while undergoing cancer treatment gave me a renewed sense of purpose. My art and my business became anchors during some of the most difficult periods of my life, bringing meaning, joy, and direction to each day. When I'm not creating art, I enjoy writing and reading fiction and exploring stories that blur the line between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
