Creative Coupling
Creative Coupling started as a small idea on my living room floor. I would dabble into mediums like watercolours, oil pastels and acrylic to make dozens of artworks. What was once just art therapy found meaning beyond. From selling hand painted greeting cards to now selling art prints, desk frames and coasters, the brand has grown quickly! I just welcomed my first batch of interns! :)
Tote Studio India
Tote Studio India started because I wanted to turn my digital artworks into something you could take with you — literally. So I began printing them on sturdy cotton totes that are ethically made, printed with non-polluting inks, and sewn by a women-led team. They’re not just totes — they’re little pieces of art that walk around with you.
About the founder/artist
I’m Shweta Wagaralkar, an artist and the person behind Creative Coupling/Tote Studio India. I paint, design, and sometimes overthink. My art usually starts with a mood — not a plan. I work across mediums: oil pastels, acrylics, watercolours, and digital, depending on what the day feels like.
Building Creative Coupling and Tote Studio India while going through cancer treatment hasn't been easy. They are my anchors and make my life so much more meaningful.
Apart from running my art and merch business, I enjoy writing fiction about things I’m obsessed about – currently it's Konkan!
