Art That Feels Like You

Journey Of Creative Coupling

Creative Coupling started by Shweta Wagaralkar as an Instagram page made to share art with the world. Art workshops were held; more and more art was made. And finally out of the endless art started her dream project - Creative Coupling.

Art was great but making it utilitarian made it even more accessible.
Art on things. That's what we are, that's what we do.

Desk art frames, tote bags, pouches, coasters, and magnets are all up for sale!

Tote Studio India

Tote Studio India started because I wanted to turn my digital artworks into something you could take with you — literally. So I began printing them on sturdy cotton totes that are ethically made, printed with non-polluting inks, REACH complaint and sewn by a women-led team. They’re not just totes — they’re little pieces of art that walk around with you.

Our Philosophy

Slow. Soulful. Sustainable.

Art with utility

Each product begins with a thoughtful design to give you a piece of art with utility.

Sustainably made

We use REACH compliant materials, non-polluting inks with minimal use of plastic.

Museum-grade art prints

All art is printed with archival ink on archival paper to give you art prints that last 50 years.

I work inside out.
Paint first.
Then put the art on things.

I’m Shweta Wagaralkar, a queer artist and the person behind Creative Coupling/Tote Studio India. I paint, design, and sometimes overthink. My art usually starts with a mood — not a plan. I work across mediums: oil pastels, acrylics, watercolours, and digital, depending on what the day feels like.

Building Creative Coupling and Tote Studio India while going through cancer treatment hasn't been easy. They are my anchors and make my life so much more meaningful.

Apart from running my art and merch business, I enjoy writing magical realism fiction.
